I discovered these a couple years ago when I got their tights as a Christmas present. But ever since jeggings came about I have also purchased a few of their leggings. These are great because they aren't see through and they last more than one season....yes they are around $30-$40, but just think how many pairs of $10-$15 leggings you have purchased from Old Navy or Target that tear or fade. They also have real pockets! I got my black ones in October and I think I have worn them every weekend since. Although winter is almost over you will definitely be wearing these into the spring and even cool nights in the summer! Enjoy...

- Welcome to Sunday's Nectar. Flourishing from a passion for the design world, as a teacher, I am touching upon my creative side to bring a piece of this passion to you every Sunday. Please sit, read and absorb. A quote that my Mom shared years ago is my inspiration... "Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has a meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation." Enjoy Sunday's Nectar and set your inner hummingbird free.

Hidden Heels
As winter is almost ending...or beginning (for us on the east coast), I have been noticing more and more shoes in stores and on the street that look like flats but are actually heels (the heel is hidden)! This invention is great for someone like myself who would love a little height, but doesn't want to look too dressed up. Check out 80%20 shoes, as these won't break the bank, but will definitely turn heads...(their 2012 Spring collection has not been released yet). Below are from their 2011 collections:

Bright and Bold
I've been noticing new colors for this season that are bright, vibrant and simple... lime mixed with navy blue, neon pink with taupe, mint green with black. Try a bold shirt, khaki pants and a neon belt or layered stripes, colored khakis and a simple scarf....two very affordable stores that are carrying this look are the Gap www.gap.com and Loft www.loft.com
